Hello! Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Silvia and I am a Senior Research Fellow and Principal Investigator at UCL. Cardiovascular physiologist by training, I spent many years studying the cardiovascular system, and I am now really passionate about the role of calcium signalling in the retinal vasculature in health and disease.

I have extensive experience in public engagement and I am actively involved in the fight against bullying and harassment as a member of the FullStop committee at the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology.
