Hello! Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Silvia and I am a Lecturer in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Brighton. Cardiovascular physiologist by training, I spent many years studying the cardiovascular system, and I am now really passionate about the role of calcium signalling in the retinal vasculature in health and disease.
I have extensive experience in public engagement and I am actively involved in the fight against bullying and harassment in the workplace.
